Thanks for saying hello!

The event went well over the two day period with a considerable number of visitors to the stand. Most times Rhiannon and Ian who were manning the stand did nothing but talk to interested visitors and by lunchtime of the Saturday 450 gallery leaflets had been picked up.

It is fair to say the same result took place with our popular greeting cards featuring our own images.

Most rewarding was the interest shown in the live drawing exercise of the new Community Trust painting of Burley. Wharfedale newspapers and Trust websites prior coverage certainly heightened interest in the project and a lot of excitement was shown when the progressive drawing could be viewed close up. Ian is hopeful of completing the drawing stage within the next ten days after which a canvas print will be prepared ahead of the actual oil painting beginning. It looks like the picture itself will measure around 4ft across without the frame.
