Deer In The Clearing

Ian who was born in 1946 is a successful, professional Yorkshire based artist. Whilst creating museum grade reproductions of paintings by Da Vinci and the likes of Degas, he specialises in his own unique style of abstract expressionism. His original work has been auctioned on more than one occasion at the Royal Academy in London and he has consistently received critical acclaim from the press.

’Deer In The Clearing’ has been completed in 2017 in oils on canvas. In common with many of Ian’s other work there are many hidden semi abstract images blended into the composition.

150 signed and authenticated limited edition prints of the work have been released for purchase, some of which are still available at £180 directly from Somerville Arts or selected art retailers.
